About the roleWe are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering department, managing projects from concept to completion, and building industry-leading solutions for our customers.
As a Software Engineer, you will:
Design automation software solutions to control process machines;Develop software for the entire machine lifecycle, including design, development, production, and maintenance, ensuring that the software meets customer requirements;Perform simulations, debugging, and testing of machines, both prior to machine installation and at customer sites;Write relevant technical documentation;Collaborate with the customer service department on remote support and commissioning phase, contributing with configuration and parameterization services;The position will be based in Casalgrande (RE) with the flexibility to move to Fiorano Modenese (MO).
What you need to be successfulTo be successful in this role, you will have a strong and keen interest in software design activities and an innate aptitude towards customers and colleagues: You are a team player.
You have a Master's degree in Automation/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering or related fields;Up to 1 year of experience in a similar position would be an advantage (automation machinery);You are organized and detail-oriented, focused on innovation, and curious about innovative solutions;You have a good knowledge of PLC programming tools and programming languages such as Codesys and C#;You have a basic knowledge of motion control platforms such as Beckhoff/Schneider, Siemens, or Omron;You have a basic knowledge of reading electrical diagrams;You are comfortable speaking, reading, and writing in English;You are enthusiastic about potential business trips (5-10%).Job Reference: CGS11853
