We are looking for a Software Architect for Tech-Transfer Unit Digital. The main part of your daily work will be the development, automation, maintenance, and monitoring of software and solutions for the Open Data Hub. Open Data Hub is a project that aims to develop an access point to South Tyrol's relevant open data and supports the implementation of an innovation platform, where talents can use data and create innovative solutions for the SMART Green Region South Tyrol.
Furthermore, you will take part in the activities of the Free Software Lab and Tech Transfer Digital, which means cooperating, networking, and consulting external companies and institutions to support their projects. You will become part of an experienced and closely working team that uses agile methods.
We entrust this to you: Coordination of external experts and suppliers Further development of Free Open Source Software projects and participation in the international FOSS community Front-end development Back-end development (Java (Spring Framework), C#, Go, and DBMS (PostgreSQL, ...)) Continuous integration and deployment of DevOps Know-How Transfer You: Already have experience or strong interest in: UI/UX design (customer journey, mock-ups, screen designs, ...) Web application development (web front-ends, CSS, HTML, web components, ...) Development of apps (native, hybrid, and web apps) Server administration (both Linux and Windows) Database Management Systems (PostgreSQL) DevOps (continuous integration and deployment) Design and implementation of software architecture Central monitoring and logging of application and software architectures Design and realization of monitoring dashboards (also big data analytics) Agile project management (Kanban, Scrum) Have know-how in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Go, Javascript Nice to have know-how: Linux desktop systems, Open Source Licenses, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and infrastructure as code Have a good knowledge of English, Italian, and German (mandatory) Do you want to keep growing in an inspiring and international working environment?
