We are looking for a Junior Service Technician who will be based out in Milan. As a Junior Service Technician you will be learning and developing your technical expertise within our Operations function to support the smooth running of the business. You will be passionate about increasing your technical knowledge to analyse and solve any problems that may arise with our products when they are on site, whether at installation or during the rental period. You will work under the supervision of Senior Service Engineers and other members of the Operations Team to answer customer questions, both remotely using our innovative technology and on site. Your role is critical to delivering on our brand promise of exceptional service and customer satisfaction, so a customer-focused attitude is essential! Responsibilities and tasks Assisting in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and products to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. Assist in the installation and configuration of equipment, systems, and products at client locations. Perform basic setup and calibration as required. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair minor issues under guidance from senior engineers. Report complex problems to the senior team and support in resolving them. Respond to client inquiries and provide on-site or remote support for equipment-related issues. Educate clients on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting techniques. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions. Prepare and submit service reports and logs to supervisors. Work closely with senior engineers and the technical team to ensure quality service delivery. Participate in training sessions to improve technical knowledge and skills. Education & Experience: Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field). 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role (construction sites; IP / computer networks; engineering). Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Knowledge of industry safety standards and procedures. General ability to use MS Office programmes. Soft Skills: Strong technical problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Eager to learn and develop new skills. Listens to the customer's wishes and needs and adapts the working method accordingly. Prioritises service and customer satisfaction. Other Requirements: Valid driver's license. Ability to lift and handle equipment as needed. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours when required. Mother tongue Italian, advanced knowledge of English (conversation).
