Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated, recently high school graduate Technician to join our Engineering, Maintenance, and Technical Services Unit.
Reporting to the Unit Supervisor, the selected candidate will be involved in supporting and cooperating with the maintenance team.
Key responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs on scientific instruments (e.g., microscopes, incubators, synthesizers, freeze-dryers, etc.).
Clean and maintain mechanical components (e.g., ventilation systems, lighting, heat exchangers, optics, etc.).
Replace mechanical and electrical components (e.g., filters, power supplies, electronic boards, etc.).
Repair electrical and electronic components.
Use and calibrate instrumentation for electrical and thermo-mechanical measurements (e.g., temperature, CO2, humidity, etc.).
Manage computerized systems to support scientific instrumentation.
Configure and maintain PCs linked to scientific instrumentation.
Install and configure software for PCs linked to scientific instruments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Provide general maintenance support for site electrical systems and instruments.
Maintain and configure data networks for PCs and PLCs (preferred but not mandatory).
Document interventions using paper forms and the Navision management system.
Manage technical warehouse and spare parts inventory.
Assist external technicians as needed.

Qualifications High school graduate in electronics, electrotechnics, mechatronics, IT, or telecommunications.
No experience is required, but 2–3 years in a similar role (or as an electrician) is a plus.
