Junior Sales Manager - Temporary Contract 12 months
The Hill's Junior Sales Manager (SM) will support the sales team, reporting directly to the Field Sales Manager, and Hill's business in sales growing, distribution, market share and to become Brand Recommended Most Often "BRMO", in the assigned territory.
The Junior Sales Manager manages the customers, both veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores, in the assigned territory.
What you will do:
Territory Management Achieve territory sales targets managing orders' collection through effective visits with customers and handling efficiently all the commercial/financial aspects and engaging all the internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate records in the Hill's reporting system. Leverage all Company available tools to drive execution (Product Distribution, Detailing material, Staff Feeding, Sampling, Trial, etc.). Clinic / Store Business Development
Support the development of the business of the assigned area also by providing best in class professional support (detailing and merchandising), reaching all key stakeholders in specified practices and stores, collaborating with the Pet Vet Affairs (PVA) team ensuring an effective planning and active participation during the activities. Brand awareness, full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hill's products. Full distribution, excellent visibility and active endorsement of Hill's products by the store staff. Rapid acceptance, endorsement and distribution of new products Establishment of shelf space and adequate inventory within each store. Monitor achievement of territory objectives vs target & develops strategies to address changes in the business environment as appropriate. Education/ Experience Required
Master's degree in Veterinary, Animal Science or Business & Management. Previous sales experience (nutrition company, veterinary industry or pharmaceutical company). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to persuade, negotiate and finalize agreements. Customer orientation/Problem solving attitude. Excellent skills in time management, planning/priority setting, and managing budgets. Proficient computer skills and ability to learn company specific tools & programs. Fluent in Italian and good English are key requirements. Valid driver's license required. Working Relationships (Key partnerships and reporting relationships)
Reports to Field Sales Manager. Works closely with Commercial Teams including Marketing and Professional Veterinary Affairs. Contract: Temporary contract (12 months)
