Casa Brera is currently recruiting a Junior Sales Manager to join a team made of modern and authentic hospitality professionals in the newest luxury lifestyle hotel in Milan.
Reporting to Director of Sales & Distribution, the Junior Sales Manager will support the achievement of established sales objectives, both individual and team related.
Among the main activities, Junior Sales Manager will:
Assist with soliciting and handling of sales opportunities.Ensure business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery.Support the sales office in all day-to-day activities.Focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships.This is a full-time position, 5 days a week with 2 days off and it involves travelling nationally and internationally. The starting date is as soon as possible.
The impact you'll make As a Junior Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our property's revenue growth. Your expertise in supporting strategic sales plans and building strong client relationships will directly contribute to our success. By identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and exceeding sales targets, you will help position our property as a market leader.
What you'll do Building Successful Relationships that Generate Sales Opportunities Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.Recognize opportunities to up-sell the customer and sell enhancements to create a better Marriott experience or event.Perform general office duties to support Sales (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing).Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.Managing Sales Activities Participates in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).Using Knowledge of Market Trends and Target Customer Information to Maximize Revenue Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.Gains understanding of the location's primary target customer and service expectations.What we're looking for: At least two years' experience in a similar role within luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands.Fluent English and Italian language mandatory, third language would be a plus.Time management and decision-making skills.Customer-oriented and high level of presentational abilities.Positive demeanor, integrity, and dependability.Bachelor's degree in hospitality would be a plus.What we offer A unique opportunity to be part of a luxury lifestyle hotel where we celebrate your unique talent.Part of Marriott International, the largest hospitality brand in the world.World class training and development programs tailored to enhancing your skills.Work alongside some amazing talent- award winning, experienced hospitality professionals.Discounted room nights, meals, and spa access in more than 9,000 hotels worldwide.Performance and Recognition programs.Wellness and sustainability initiatives.Explore our very big world As a world-class leader in the travel industry, there's no better place than Marriott International to make your mark.
