We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior Research and Strategy Analyst to join our teams. This unique hybrid position offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to gain comprehensive, cross-functional skills in both research and strategic consultancy over a two-year period.
In the first two years, the ideal candidate will be fully immersed in our research team, gaining in-depth knowledge on banks and other financial intermediaries. Following this, the role will transition into our strategic advisory and corporate finance team, where the insights gained will be applied to real-world strategic challenges. This position not only equips the candidate with an all-encompassing skill set but also makes them an invaluable and versatile asset to our company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Years 1-2: Research Team
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on banks and other financial intermediaries. Acquire a comprehensive market vision, including on the macro-financial context. Prepare detailed reports on banks and financial intermediaries. Develop sensitivity to the macro-financial environment. Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data and market trends. Collaborate with senior researchers to develop innovative research methodologies. Assist in the preparation of research publications and client reports. Subsequent Years: Strategic Advisory and Corporate Finance Team
Apply research insights to develop strategic recommendations for clients. Participate in client meetings and presentations, providing data-driven insights. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives. Work on corporate finance projects, including M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive consulting solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and developments to inform strategic advice. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Familiarity with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Bloomberg, SPSS, R) is a plus. Demonstrated interest in the banking and financial intermediaries' sector. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment. Proficiency in English. PERSONAL SKILLS:
