JOB MISSION
The mission of this role is to create excellent formulas in terms of functional and sensorial performance, complying with the constraints of manufacturability, cost, and safety with a high level of sustainability and innovation in collaboration with external suppliers, in line with the sustainable and ethic company strategy.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as a point of reference for full-service product development processes.
Support quality assurance and legal in the definition of the contract and quality agreement for the placement of new suppliers.
Actively collaborate with the HC Test Space or SC test space (based on project request) to achieve the set performance KPIs and support technical marketing to create the right scientific communication necessary for creating product information materials.
Lead the development process of new formulations and actively collaborate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to finalize the final product in accordance with marketing requests.
Provide the monitoring of stability and compatibility tests of the final product to validate the stability's supplier report.
Monitor KPIs and progress of ongoing projects and follow up on related reporting.
Research and selection of new and/or innovative raw materials.
Support purchasing department and marketing to scout new suppliers and new formulation concept.
Collaborate with final approval of the project brief.
Monitoring the timing of the project, guaranteeing the respect of the deadline.
Finalize and identify internal efficacy tests on strands to support specific product claims.
Follow up on the project and provide regular status reports to the project team and key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the innovation department with new ideas.
Collaborate with the entire R&D department, contributing innovative ideas, skills, knowledge, and experience, with a strong team spirit and pride in the organization's contribution to the company.
PERSON SPECIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Chemical / Scientific background.
Professional knowledge of English (both written and spoken)
Professional knowledge of Texture analyzer, Microscope
Professional knowledge in cosmetic science and green chemistry
Knowledge of aerosol technology and VOC regulation
Knowledge of project management (Agile Methodology)
Professional knowledge of Microsoft Software (word, excel, power point)
