We are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer for our Welding and Piping Workshop near Parma.
The resource will be responsible for ensuring that Mechanical activities are carried out internally or by Sub-contractor are in accordance with approved Procedures, Specifications, and relevant codes & Standards to review the relevant document prior to start of construction e.g.
ITP, Project specification, etc .
The resource will be supported by experienced colleagues in the role and will be responsible for implementing the quality plan, which includes inspection, testing, and proper documentation, and ensuring that all works comply with Client/Contractor issued drawings (IFC), applicable standards, and specifications.
They will ensure that all inspection and testing activities related to Environment, Health & Safety procedures and maintenance rules are respected.
They will perform proactive surveillance inspections to minimize or avoid the costs and time associated with rectifying discrepancies and non-conformities.
