We are currently seeking a Junior Project Engineer for our Honeywell Building Solutions division based in Cologno Monzese. You will be working with hardware and software for HVAC, safety, and security systems.
This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for 24 months. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager to deliver integrated solutions for HVAC, safety, and security building systems with complex technical requirements.Coordinate contributions from internal and external stakeholders to support efficient and effective project execution.Design and document complex, integrated systems, ensuring all specifications and technical standards are met.Develop software, conduct bench testing, and deliver commissioning packages, supporting field start-up as needed.Assist application engineers with programming, technical project management, and site activities, integrating systems with supervisory software and third-party protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, KNX). Skills and Qualifications: Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in electrical, automation, or mechanical engineering.Fluent in Italian and English, with solid communication and interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills with a foundation in networking and integration protocols.Knowledgeable in networking, database technology, and industry trends, with a willingness to learn Honeywell's latest technologies.Self-motivated, able to work both independently and within a team, and committed to customer satisfaction.Must be eligible for an apprenticeship contract.
