Principali responsabilità: Design, develop and implement all process design activitiesCarry out process analysis and simulations to evaluate the efficiency of the processesPrepare Heat Material Balance SheetsCreate Process Flow Diagrams and Process Piping & Instrumentation DiagramsEquipment sizingEquipment and Instrumentation Process datasheet compilationKnowledge of international best practices and engineering standardsDefinition and sizing of linesPSV, Control Valves calculation and sizingHazOp, HazId supportPrepare Process Specifications for Request for Quotation (RfQ) and provide support for the technical process complianceAssistance to the various disciplines for the development of detailed designCarry out feasibility analysesEnsure safety, reliability, and efficiency of the plantsVerify compliance with quality, environmental and safety standardsKnowledge & Qualifications: Master's degree in chemical engineering, good aptitude for learning chemical processes and production activitiesAcademic Knowledge of production processes and technologiesGood use of MS Office system (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint)Skills in the use of any process simulation software (ASPEN, HYSYS or others) (nice to have)Knowledge of AutoCAD basic features (nice to have)Skills and Abilities: Fluent EnglishGood analytical problem-solving skillsNatural attitude to learn new technologiesFlexibility and adaptabilityTeam-oriented, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolutionAttention to details, good communications and interpersonal skillsWillingness to travel in Europe and abroadExperience: If possible, thesis topic concerning the following processes: petrochemical, refining or fuel sectors, circular economy or energy transition technologies.Job Location: Catania, Italy
