The JUNIOR PLANNER will have the opportunity to support the Merchandising Department in the definition of the product distribution strategy and the store clustering for our network of stores (offline / online) to maximize sales and profit while keeping inventory levels aligned with targets.
The resource will assist the team in supporting the product distribution and allocation across various stores (offline and online).
The role involves contributing to basic analysis of space management, product trends, and sales data, with the aim of learning how to optimize store performance, manage inventory levels, and assist the team in achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Support in the definition of the store clustering.
Support merchandisers in the definition of the quantity to order by article based on store clustering/distribution.
Support in the definition of the initial product allocation.
Support in regrouping and replenishing products in season based on performance and stock level.
Support in producing seasonal ratings for stores taking into consideration both sales and space and other store and product attributes.
Support in planning and changing the spatial mix in stores to reflect product trends.
Support in planning ideal option counts for all stores that reflect the business calendar and local factors.
Support in setting up trade calendar which identifies sales.
Support in managing new stock packages for store openings, closures and refits.
