Junior Officer - Front Desk Unit

We are looking for a Junior Officer to work in the Front Desk Unit. Responsabilit Handle the intake of applications of specific areas and perform the completeness check of dossiers ensuring compliance with SOPs and procedures, Collaborate with the EFSA managers for the task and the EFSA scientific Units when needed, Draft and review the outputs of the checks and communicate to applicants through the tools in place ensuring quality in terms of clarity, coherence, and consistency, Ensure proper document management, also via the dossier submission tools and case management software, Organise, coordinate and support both internal meetings and meetings with external participants. Functie-eisen Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 or above), At least 1 year of experience in scientific coordination within international organisations, Behavioural competencies: ability to communicate effectively, ability to work in a team as well flexibility, ability to set priorities and to ensure deadlines are met, Proficiency in IT tools, standard office software and electronic management of documents and data. Assignment: initial contract of 2/3 months, with possibility of extensions. Expected duration of assignment 12 months. Salary: approx €3500 per month before taxes. Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from Parma, Italy for the remaining days.
