At the heart of what we do is our people – we believe that when our people work with purpose, we will create a better business and a better world.At Unilever, your career will be a unique journey, grounded in our inclusive, collaborative, and flexible working environment.JOB PURPOSEIf you are passionate about maintenance and mechanical operations then this role is just for you!WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEThe Junior Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and collaborates with the manufacturing and engineering teams, focusing on supporting in the technical elimination of losses and waste on the production lines and is involved in continuous technical improvement projects.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Supports in planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities by evaluating a preventive or corrective maintenance strategy based on cost/benefit priorities.Ensures compliance with the Integrated Management System (quality, environment, health and safety at work) procedures and documents related to job responsibilities.Supports in the development of maintenance procedures and ensures program implementation.Supports in increasing Safety Improvements into Machinery Safety matters.Supports in the implementation of UMS (Unilever Manufacturing Standards) on Professional Maintenance.Attends daily meetings in line with Run to Standard approach.Tracks metrics to discover areas for improvement and monitor upgrades.Supports in the collection and analysis of processing performance data for continuous improvement.Uses process knowledge to help develop and deliver novel products and processes for new consumer offerings.Works on the implementation of digital innovations and projects.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDSkills, Experiences & QualificationsEducational Background: Engineering Master's Degree.
