Job Description
As the HR Generalist, you are the cornerstone of our human resources and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the head of People & Culture or the Head of Payrolls, your responsibilities encompass the breadth of HR duties from recruitment to offboarding. Your role ensures that our engineers, software developers, and other team members have an optimal work environment, feel valued, and continue to drive our company's success in the renewable energy software domain.
Responsibilities: Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection.Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new hires are smoothly integrated and understand company culture and policies.Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee concerns, feedback, and complaints.Organize regular communication sessions, including town halls and departmental meetings.Identify training needs, develop training programs, and coordinate sessions to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills.Promote continuous learning and support employees in their professional growth aspirations.Coordinate and oversee periodic performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.Manage any necessary disciplinary processes in accordance with company guidelines.Handle all HR administrative tasks, including employment contract creation, amendments, and renewals.Track employee attendance, leaves, and other relevant data.Plan and organize company events, team-building activities, and other initiatives to promote a positive work culture.Monitor workplace satisfaction and implement initiatives to boost morale and collaboration.Represent the company at job fairs and industry events, promoting the company as an employer of choice.Develop and maintain a strong employer brand in the job market.Handle exit interviews, ensuring a smooth and constructive offboarding process for departing employees.Manage administrative requirements related to resignations or terminations.Ensure that all HR processes and policies comply with local labor laws and regulations.Regularly update company policies and communicate changes to the team.Oversee the company's compensation strategy, ensuring competitive and fair pay.Manage employee benefits and address any related queries.Implement feedback mechanisms to gather insights from employees.Use active listening techniques to address concerns, ensuring a harmonious workplace.Coordinate with external HR consultants or legal experts when necessary.Stay updated with the latest HR trends and best practices relevant to the software and renewable energy industries.
Qualifications
Study & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus.Proven experience as an HR generalist, preferably in the tech or renewable energy domain.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Deep understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.Ability to empathize with and advocate for employees, fostering a positive work environment.Hard Skills: Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.Strong organizational and administrative skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.Empathy and understanding of employee needs and concerns.
