As part of the staffing increase of Tangity Product Development team , NTT DATA is looking for a Junior FPGA Design Engineer.
We are looking for a recent graduate in Electronic Engineering, or someone with up to one year of experience, to join our client's team as a Junior FPGA Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for designing and developing advanced digital solutions using FPGA technology.
The selected candidate will join the FPGA Design team, which plays a crucial role in developing and validating cutting-edge digital modules for high-performance systems in the telecommunications sector. As a Junior FPGA Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, interfacing with multiple cross-functional teams including HW Design, SW Design, and Product Engineering.
This role is a great opportunity to learn and grow within an experienced team, contributing to the development, optimization, and validation of complex FPGA-based systems. You will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from defining technical requirements to ensuring the reliability and performance of the final product. This position offers broad exposure to the latest in FPGA technology and provides the chance to make a significant impact on the development of high-quality digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design, development, and implementation of digital solutions on FPGA within the telecommunications field. Collaborating with the design team to define technical and functional requirements. Performing simulations and tests to verify FPGA design functionality. Debugging and optimizing code to ensure high performance and reliability. Collaborating with other teams (software, hardware, testing) for system integration and validation. Mandatory Requirements:
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Basic knowledge of FPGA and hardware description languages (HDL), with a preference for Verilog. Some experience (internships, university projects, etc.) in FPGA development. Familiarity with FPGA synthesis and simulation tools. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team and good communication skills. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Nice to have:
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets. Knowledge of scripting for automating development workflows (e.g., Python, TCL). Familiarity with hardware debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc. Workplace: 100% on-site in Vimercate (MB).
