Job Description - Junior Financial Controller GroupM is looking for a Junior Financial Controller who will be involved in supporting the Financial Control and Reporting team in all activities regarding financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
He/She will actively participate in all key financial processes: month/quarter/year ends, business reviews, forecasting, and budgeting, and will therefore have daily interactions with the wider Finance team, mainly administration and agency Finance.
We expect the candidate to also engage and interact outside the Finance community, analyze, and communicate business results to key stakeholders, and participate in the continuous improvement of our internal processes.
MAIN TASKSSupport to month end closure activities and reconciliationsPreparation of month end reporting packages and relevant documentationActual data analysis, key deviations from budget/previous yearSupport to financial planning cycle: data collection, template automation and consolidation, related reporting activitiesABOUT YOUThe candidate should be a graduate, preferably with a Master's Degree in Business or Economics studiesGood command of English both written and spokenBasic accounting knowledgeStrong analytical skills and detail-orientedExcellent organizational & multi-tasking skillsGood interpersonal skills and keen to work in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)1 or 2 years previous experience in Finance Controlling in Media Industry or Audit will be a plusHard workerAble to work in a teamPassionateIf you are eager to be part of our team, join the challenge!
