Junior Financial Controller

Supports the Accounting Manager in maintaining and managing the correct shop and warehouse accounts.
He/she is responsible for the correct and timely management of accounting and administrative operations by providing cross-support to the Chief Accountant on the various areas.
RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the manager in the activities of first note, registration of invoices receivable/payable, bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities; Supports in managing relations with banks and credit institutions, updating the "bank file" and forwarding payment instructions; Manages the updating of the archive by optimising the use of IT tools; Manages reporting activities by verifying the correctness and balancing of data to be presented to Management; Participates in inventory control activities; Contributes to the correct administrative and civil law management of the Company; Recognises, imputes, accounts for data and closes accounts; Highlights irregular positions and manages the consequent actions; Processes and prepares accounting situations; Carries out operations functional to budgets and final accounts; Handles the operational part of tax management (presentation of VAT settlement, presentation of Intrastat declaration, quarterly summary of EEC transactions, declaration of withholding taxes on recipients, etc.
), by preparing and sending the necessary data to the tax office for the presentation of the forms required by tax regulations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Accounting experience of at least 2 years; Accuracy and proactivity; Problem solving; Adherence to deadlines; Knowledge of asset side, liability side, first note entries, tax compliance, bank reconciliations; Ability to work in a team; Use of SAP; Use of office package.
