Responsibilities SGSS has been present in Italy since September 2006 through a dedicated Italian Bank, SGSS S.p.A., one of the main players in the Securities Services' industry that covers all SGSS businesses for its two segments of clients: Financial Institutions & Brokers and Asset Managers & Insurance. Thanks to over 500 employees based in Milan and Turin, SGSS S.p.A. ensures daily support to over 300 clients. Our clients are institutional investors (insurance companies and pension funds), asset managers, financial intermediaries (brokers, investment companies).
Mission: The Junior Financial Analyst will be part of the Accounting & Reporting team, contributing to the production of local financial statements and to SG Group accounting package.
Tasks and responsibilities: Analyze the business, liquidity and cost drivers underlying the activity of SGSS Spa, gathering data from various sources to provide clear and effective management reporting to the relevant functions within the Bank.Contribute elements to define the budgeting exercise and support the Team in designing the expected financial trajectory of the Bank, under the direct supervision of the Head of Accounting & Reporting and the CFO.Profile required Studies & experience: Bachelor's degree with a major in Corporate Finance, Accounting & Economics.Preferable: 6 to 24 months of experience as Junior financial analyst in a bank or in a top consulting firm as a member of an audit team dedicated to banks/financial institutions.Language skills: Italian: C2English: C1French: assetTechnical and operational skills: Corporate Finance background and financial modeling skills.Robust knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.Basic understanding of Basel III/IV regulations.IT skills.Microsoft Office 365 suite.Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases.Behavioral and management skills: Strong analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation/reporting skills.Ability to give simple explanations on complicated subjects.Rigorous, with a sense of priorities and highly organized.Enjoy team working and collaborative.Reliability, thoroughness, and transparency are strong capabilities.Why join us: In a highly competitive and fragmented financial market, our ambition is to be the reference partner recognized for its service quality and competitiveness, its agile solutions and international network coverage.
