RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Energy Civil Engineer to join its office in Genova, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
MissionRina is looking for a Civil Engineer in the Oil & Gas and Energy sector. The successful candidate will work on multiple projects and his / her main interfaces will be colleagues both from the same team and from different departments, clients, and suppliers, coordinating the discipline project team.
Key AccountabilitiesDevelopment of concept design and feasibility study relating to assets in the Energy sector.Development of the typical documentation of civil engineering, in the Basic, FEED, and Detail design phase including design basis, structural modelling and calculation report, etc.Use of calculation software e.g. SAP2000, STAAD Pro, etc.Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications, submitting documentation to officials, and other day-to-day duties.Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentation, and engineering drawings, etc.).Prepare progress reports and present them to engineers and other personnel.Be aware and understand the Quality Policy.Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS.Be aware of the quality of his own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role.Answer contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer and serve as liaisons between engineering and construction personnel.QualificationsWillingness to travel in Italy and abroad.
