Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Junior Electronics Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and designing test systems, defining test requirements for new products, and providing guidance on design-for-testability (DFT) principles.
This role also involves training technicians, managing the laboratory, improving internal tools, and analyzing test results.
Responsibilities and Duties:Setting up and designing test systems, including choosing equipment, creating test fixtures, and setting up data logging and interfaces.Defining what tests are needed for new products.Providing guidance to the design engineering team on design-for-testability (DFT) principles.Training technicians and operators to run tests.Assisting in the setup and management of the laboratory.Improving internal tools like test software and documentation templates.Analysing test results and sharing them with key stakeholders.Qualifications And Skills Required:Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or related degree.Programming or scripting experience, such as Python, LabVIEW, SQL, MATLAB, or Embedded C.Good working knowledge of electronic measurement systems (Oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply..).Fluent knowledge of the Italian language and basic knowledge of the English language.Must be organized and have a methodical approach to problem solving.Experience designing and executing test plans for custom board-level electronics.Extensive knowledge of a range of digital and analog interfaces including GPIB, USB, ARINC429, HDLC, SDLC, VISA, TCP/IP, VLAN, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, and analog-to-digital conversion.Certified IPC Specialist (IPC/J-STD-001, IPC-7711/7721, IPC/WHMA A-620).
