As Junior Designer Intern, VJC, you will design within the domain of the Collection following the guidelines and creative direction given by the Head of Design.
What can you learn with us?: Research: Research material and colors according to the macro themes of the collection;Present research in a concise and efficient selection that feels relevant;Discuss ideas with senior designer and the team and develop the research more in depth;Explore and go out in an adventurous spirit and bring back ideas to the group.Design: Design within the boundaries and themes set by the senior designer;Propose relevant ideas that fit with the macro themes;Develop technical skills in order to facilitate the making of a real garment;Work with Print and understand how they can work on a garment;Development: Work with the Production team and senior designer to prepare clear drawings that are easily explained and clear;Work with Production team and senior designer on the best way to construct the garment;Working at fittings making clear notes that are understandable and clear. Taking concise notes on the sketches to have a clear understanding of garment and collection development.Do you have these qualifications and skills?: Minimum BA degree in Design;Excellent ability in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design and rendering of the sketch;Strong teamwork and relationship skills;Organization and problem solving skills;Don't lose this great opportunity to join us.
