The Controller acts as a business partner to the Operation Functions, providing financial insight to achieve Cost targets, preparing timely and accurate monthly costs reports, investigating any discrepancy.
The new joiner will support the Finance team in collecting and analysing all accounting information necessary to finalize the monthly closing process and official reporting. The person will cooperate with the Business Partners, actively contributing to estimate and analyse Costs trends. The Controller will perform budgeting and reforecasting, analysing gaps between forecast and actual.
Key Responsibilities Deliver, review and own the Budget, Forecasting and Latest Estimate processes for Customs / Shipping costs Manage the monthly closing activities Support the business leaders in managing/reviewing costs and KPIs and providing ad-hoc value adding analysis. Proactively identify, appraise & recommend business opportunities. Prepare, analyse and deliver monthly Group results to business leaders. Qualifications Degree in Economics or Management Engineering 1/2 years of significant prior experience in a similar position or financial controlling role Outstanding analytical abilities, precision, a result-driven orientation and aptitude for problem solving Good knowledge of English, Fluency in Italian Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred SAP knowledge, Navision experience is advantageous Occasional business trips may be required.
