Job Summary We are seeking a Junior Configuration Manager who will provide support in all activities concerning configuration management and control.
Working within the Product Engineering department, you will be responsible for item identification, component data entry, product change management, document management, and correctness of related revisions status.
You will also be involved in the configuration audits held across the whole product lifecycle.
Responsibilities and Duties Create item and entry related data for electrical and mechanical components according to the rules defined by the company procedure.Create and maintain configuration baselines (development, test, production, etc.
).Maintain product structures in PLM and change management tools.Conduct audits (Configuration Status Account) on Bill of Materials (BOMs), Drawings, and all other Technical and Manufacturing documents for formal release.Support for Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs).Produce CM Metrics and reports.Provide support for reviews and analyses of released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, product engineering, quality, program management, and manufacturing.Prepare and conduct Configuration Control Boards (CCB).Qualifications and Skills Required Skills Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.Knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).English Language (written and spoken): B2 or greater.Work passion and smart learning attitude.Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics.Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.Optional Skills Familiarity with CAD applications.Knowledge of processes applicable to configuration management according to international standards (EIA 649C or equivalent).Knowledge of ENOVIA V6 or similar PLM tool.Knowledge of SVN or similar for software version control.Knowledge of REDMINE or similar for Problem Report management.Benefits and Perks Additional health insurance.Free lunch meal.Coffee bar.
