This position is located in Maranello, Italy, and reports to the Head of Concept & Composite Design.
Key Responsibilities: Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.
Design support for a variety of composite components and assemblies.
Conduct design studies for the concept stage of the new car design program.
Maintain thorough knowledge of composite materials and production techniques.
Ensure compliance with F1 technical regulations.
Follow all safety regulations in all venues.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Education and Work Experience: Must be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a strong knowledge of composite materials.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a composite design engineer within motorsport.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Communication, ability to work under pressure, self-motivation, time management, conflict resolution, adaptability, willingness to learn, etc.
Equipment and Applications: Must be proficient in the use of CAD system: Catia V5 / V6 3dx.
