This position is located in Maranello, Italy and reports to the Head of Concept & Composite Design.
Key Responsibilities:Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.Design support for a variety of composite components and assemblies.Conduct design studies for the concept stage of the new car design program.Have a thorough knowledge of composite materials and production techniques.Understand the F1 technical regulations.Follow all safety regulations in all venues.Other duties as assigned by the manager.Education and Work Experience:Must be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with strong knowledge of composite materials. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a composite design engineer within motorsport.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:Communication, ability to work under pressure, self-motivation, time management, conflict resolution, adaptability, willingness to learn, etc.
Equipment and Applications:Must be proficient in the use of CAD system: Catia V5 / V6 3dx.
