EMEA (Remote)The Junior Clinical Scientific Curator will be responsible for helping with the implementation of the Medical Affairs Team strategic plan and activities within the Clinical Sequencing Division (CSD) at Thermo Fisher Scientific.
By providing the most effective sequencing solutions within the clinical and translational research Importante Azienda, the CSD is enabling Precision Medicine across healthcare providers globally.
Whilst we continue expanding our clinical reach by supporting clinical validity/utility studies and by generating in-country and international level evidence, we seek to ameliorate our understanding of the fast-evolving molecular diagnostics field.
To that end, the Junior Clinical Scientific Curator will help establish a focused strategy to sustain the scientific integrity of the Division within the pathology and oncology medical domains.Key Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the process of Medical Review of advertising, promotional, scientific, and educational material.Extract, organize, and re-analyze data from original scientific literature, and describe the data with standard annotation protocols and vocabulary to enable easy queries.Review primary research data intended for publication, generated from Oncomine Clinical Research Grant program supported projects;Catalog scientific literature referring to Oncomine solutions in the clinical Importante Azienda to provide evidence todrive adoption of Thermo Fisher Scientific solutions in the fields of Pathology and OncologyProvide support for clinical presentations and meetings with key physicians/pathologists/oncologists as requested by field sales force and marketing teams;Scientific Meeting Coverage:
provide medical affairs coverage of key medical/scientific congresses and cooperative group meetings as needed.
Listen for and interpret new clinical data as part of a continuous competitive intelligence monitoring process, report on findings to medical affairs and marketing internal stakeholders,Support the development and deliver core training for the EMEA Sales, Commercial, Marketing, and R&D teams;Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Holds a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences;A minimum of 3+ years experience in scientific writing, including peer-reviewed publications and grant proposals;Previous experience in Oncology and/or Genetics is valuable;Must be a team player with problem-solving and strategic influencing skills;Requires the ability to effectively articulate highly technical/complex scientific data and concepts to audiences with different scientific and technical knowledge;Must have proven ability to perform successfully under stringent timelines and with changing and competing priorities;International experience is required, as well as demonstrated cultural diversity awareness;Fluency in English with additional language desirable;Ability to travel at least 15%, while working from remote within EU.
