Joining our European Purchasing team you will have the opportunity to experience yourself in suppliers management, assisting in the definition and driving the implementation of a mid/long term strategic purchasing plan for the components assigned.
You'll perform the best targets in terms of quality, timing and prices in the purchasing and procurement of the components assigned, guaranteeing Product Development and Production flow continuity.
As Junior Buyer, you will support the Commodity Manager in:
Implementing the strategic purchasing plan defined for the assigned commodity Developing and implementing new purchasing strategies and processes Performing operational purchasing for the direct and subcontracted demands, including RFQs, awarding and contract process, support for proper payment to suppliers, risk management in the supply chain, acting as point of contact for delivery and quality issues. Managing contract negotiations, aimed at the optimization of procurement costs in cooperation with the related cross-functional teams Assessing the market conditions and preparing accurate price forecasts. Job Profile Qualifications and knowledge:
Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Administration/Engineering At least 1-2 years of experience within Purchasing Department Former experience in negotiating contract agreements is highly recommended Fluent English, both written and spoken MS Office proficiency Knowledge of Sap ERP application will be a plus Skills and capabilities:
