- RINA is currently recruiting for a **Junior Buyer** to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Italy Supply Chain Division.
**Mission**
- As a Junior Buyer you will have a key role in supporting the Supply Chain team in ensuring smooth operations and strategic procurement processes. Your work will involve conducting supplier research, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve supply chain excellence.**Key Accountabilities**
- **Support Supply Chain Strategy Implementation**: Ensure the smooth implementation of the supply chain strategy by adhering to guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- **Vendor Management**: Maintain accurate Vendor Lists with detailed supplier information to facilitate efficient decision-making.
- **Performance Management**: Develop and maintain performance scorecards and risk passports for suppliers to monitor and enhance supplier performance.
- **Risk Monitoring**: Regularly assess and monitor supplier risks to mitigate potential issues and ensure continuity of supplies.
- **Supplier Performance Evaluation**: Evaluate supplier performance and compliance while fostering strong partnerships with key suppliers.
- **Bid Management**: Manage the RFQ and bid evaluation process to drive competitive pricing and quality in procurement.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**: Analyze supply chain data to generate insightful reports and support data-driven decision-making.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**: Evaluate supplier capabilities and maintain strategic relationships to optimize procurement processes.
- **Technical and Tender Support**: Collaborate with technical teams and provide support during tender processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
- **Target Setting**: Define target prices and communicate commercial conditions to vendors to align procurement objectives.
**Education**
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration Finance Management**Qualifications**
**Qualifications**:
- 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain, with an understanding of supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in Supply Chain activities is advantageous.
- Fluency in Italian and English is required
