We are developing state-of-art solutions for the Space Market especially based on **Satellite Synthetic Aperture RADAR** technology.
Our expertise includes space missions design, system engineering, operational software development and ground segment support and maintenance activities.
In order to foster the rapid growth of the company we are currently looking for a junior Bid Manager to join our Business Development & Sales,** with few experiences in the space and earth observation sector.
**
**Main tasks and responsibilities**:
- Teaming with the Business Development Manager to develop a successful bid strategy.
Convey this strategy to the team members from all functional areas responsible for submitting costs and specific contributions in support of the bid
- Support the Business Development Manager for the preparation of the presentations to management as well as any customer negotiations and presentations
- Supervise the proposal writing
- Prepare the Execution Baseline for the future project: WBS, OBS, PBS, Master Schedule and Risks and Opportunities Register.
- Taking the leadership of the Management and the Financial Proposals
- Integrating the proposal for the final delivery
**Specific skills**:
- Team spirit
- Excellent external (customers) and internal (technical team) communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a wide range of people (from scientists to finance officers), both internally and externally
- Basic technical understanding of satellite RADAR and SAR Systems;
- Fluent English Language level
**Nice to Have**:
- Basic knowledge of the Manage Bid process
- Basic knowledge of commercial management, legal/contract management and finance functions (including new bid rules for managing the hyperinflation)
- Basic knowledge of ESA/ASI specific tendering conditions as well as the tools used to publish business opportunities and to submit proposals (e.g., ESA Star)
**Education and Experience**:
- Master Degree in Electronic or Computer Science or Telecommunication Engineering or Economics.
