In the procurement team of Siemens Energy Transformers you will have the possibilityto be placed side by side with professionals in the procurement of materialsand services and material management for the factory in Trento.
The procurement department target is to procurematerials and services according to the productions and factory necessitythrough strategic planning and market analysis, ensuring the achievement ofprocurement targets.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
In the short term, with thesupport of your tutor, you will learn
- how to manage the purchase of materials/services withagreed targets;
- how to prepare the purchase strategy for the optimizedprocurement in economic and logístical terms;
- how to utilize a wide range of negotiation strategies(CAO, E-auction, Global Value Sourcing, Advanced Negotiation Concept, SupplierDay, etc);
- how to prepare and update the strategic planning forassigned materials; utilize several IT tools and to optimize them;
- how to analyze and implement the duly actions in orderto develop the strategic suppliers;
- how to manage the contracts and pricelists with theassigned suppliers;
- To support Material Management dept for incoming goodsactivities and registration;
- To support editing of lists materials to be provided ateach production department according to defined schedules;
- To follow up the project flow, consumption of respectivematerials and Production order posting.
**What You Bring**
- 5 years diploma
- Passionate and prepared to learnabout issues related to procurement/material management topics;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Available to business trips onnational level, and sometimes also international;
- Good knowledge of English andItalian, both written and spoken;
- Good communication and relationalskills, enthusiasm and passion;
- Strong orientation to the targets,initiative, autonomy, and propensity to work in team
