Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Application Engineer (6 months internship minimum) who will be a part of the local technical team. The candidate will provide consulting services, training, and support to customers and new prospects. The role involves exposure to a wide range of product development problems.
What You Will Do:
Develop new methodology on real industrial applications, in combination with classical CAE and Machine Learning approaches. Work on consulting services to customers who need assistance to resolve challenging problems and build solutions of demanding complexity. Execute consulting services projects end-to-end, with close support from Senior Technical Specialists and Program Managers. Liaise between customers and software development team to drive new feature requests into future product releases. Create digital content in the form of whitepapers, videos, example & demo models or workflows and publish using the Altair One platform. Discuss potential sales opportunities and perform technical analysis and qualification of potential customer projects, in rare cases, on-site with the customer. What You Will Need:
Basics:
Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace/Automotive Engineering or related fields. Academic experience with C.A.E virtual simulation tools (Structural applications). Good communication skills (Oral and Written) in Italian and English. Ability to collaborate with all levels of technical users and management. Excellent presentation skills. Aptitude for solving engineering problems. Strong interpersonal skills. Nice to have:
Experience with Altair OptiStruct and/or Radioss. Knowledge in composite materials and structural solvers is a plus. What We Offer:
