Your tasks: We develop, configure and operate interdisciplinary software solutions for insurance products, portfolio and claims management for our Property & Casualty division.
We combine Java-based standard software from Faktor Zehn with the development of our own solutions.
We are looking for a committed and creative team member to join our team on a long-term basis to focus on claims and private customer business.
Development, configuration, roll-out and support of our existing IPM system and our ICS claims system, as part of a team and in coordination with the manufacturer Programming sophisticated software solutions and product enhancements You integrate the manufacturer's kernel at regular intervals Development, presentation and evaluation of alternative solutions, taking into account technological and economic aspects as well as legal framework conditions You will also be responsible for processing and resolving fault reports Planning and implementation of software deliveries You work closely with your team colleagues and actively participate in projects Your skills: You have successfully completed your studies in (business) informatics or a comparable vocational training in the IT environment After several years of experience in software development, you have very good technical and methodological skills as a Java developer Ideally, you already have knowledge of GIT/bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, JakartaEE/Springboot, SQL/JPQL, JAXB Knowledge and experience in the field of composite insurance is a great advantage You are a team player and communicate actively in cooperation with colleagues, the relevant specialist departments, external partners and software manufacturers You are characterized by analytical thinking and judgment as well as the ability to take a systematic and structured approach Your independent and self-reliant way of working, your high level of commitment and your ability to work under pressure round off your profile We as an employer We - the WWK Insurance Group - are one of the most traditional and at the same time most innovative companies in the German insurance industry.
