The IXL System Engineer will be responsible of:
§ analyzing the input documentation and Customer requirements
§ defining the functions, the architecture and the interfaces of the signalling system, customizing the Alstom Generic Solution to the project needs
§ analyse and capture the product application conditions
§ configuring the system, developing its data preparation and the relevant documentation
§ delivering the system application data and performing the "design" testing
§ supporting verification & validation on-site commissioning team in the system validation phase
§ applying processes, methods & tool in accordance to the Alstom standards
§ contributing the improvement of the sustainable and innovative transportation standard of the future
Required skills
§ Master degree in engineering, preferably mobility, transportation, telecommunication, computer engineering and electronics
§ Graduate or preferably 2/3 years' experience
§ Goal-oriented, problem-solving, team working approach
§ Flexibility and Trouble shooting skills
§ Basics of networks and communication protocols
§ English (minimum B2)
§ Interest to learn continuously, to improve technical and behavioral skill in dynamic and international environment
§ Previous experience and backgroung in railway, metro signalling business or in a complex and regulatory asset environment (railway, aerospace, defense ...) would be a plus and a major asset
Location: Bologna, Rome or Bari site
