For an international Food Ingredients Distributor, we are looking for a
Technical Sales Manager Food Ingredients You will sell Food Ingredients to the Food and Beverage Industry in Italy. The position will be home office-based. You will be responsible for the business development of a selection of food ingredients in different branches of the food industry.
Tasks Analysis of the market and the product range of our suppliers to find new potentials. Responsible for making market strategy, purchasing, and selling of assigned Product-groups in Slovenia. Building a close relationship with our suppliers and customers. Visits of customers, analysis of their needs, creation of value propositions. Participation in production trials at the customer/implementation of small-scale trials in the application kitchen. Project management in close cooperation with the responsible Customer Service Manager. Alignment of the sales strategy for the product groups of the suppliers with the help of the Category Managers and the Country Manager. You will benefit from numerous pieces of training (internal and abroad) every year. Discover and understand customer's needs and develop tailor-made solutions. Conduct lab, small-scale, or industrial trials with customers. Follow up offers, payments, etc. Develop and execute Sales Budget and forecasts. Requirements Degree in Food Technology Must have Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development. Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. High willingness to travel. Very organized, reliable, positive thinking. Very good knowledge of Slovenian and English (fluent in spoken and written) Must have You have a valid driving license Must have Benefits Working in an international team with lean structures.
