Job Description: This Senior Market BP role will be expected to: Act as a catalyst for change by changing perspective, bringing the outside in and framing the issue.Be a strategic investor by providing holistic and innovative insights, displaying forward looking and long-term analyses, anchoring an ROI mindset in the organization.Be the key point of contact for One Demand and Sales teams for the Petcare category.Be modern to the times by empowering users with digital tools, working cross functions, and visualizing data & storytelling in an engaging way.This role is one of the feeder roles to the Cluster Finance Director position.
What will be your key responsibilities? Finance business partner for respective customer group/channel – supporting the definition of customer strategy and achieving targets set within operational plan/3 yrs value creation plan.Partner with regional Customer/Channel teams and Centers of Excellence in the process of strategies and plans definition.Member of the Customer/Channel Management Team, accountable with the Customer/Channel Business Director for the delivery, ownership and execution of the Operating Plan.Develop strategic partnership with the Customer Business Director through spending time in the market to understand the competitive landscape, uncover opportunities for growth, and strengthen the relationship with the Customer team.Support in the preparation of annual trade negotiations and customer business plans for respective customer group/channel in coordination with regional Customer teams.Influence sales and customers to recommend process improvements for the mutual benefit of all parties and to allow for the best use of trade funds.Support in ad-hoc activities and customer individual offers via financial evaluation and recommendations for respective customer group/channel.Ensure that the trade budget of the respective customer group/channel is managed accurately and at an appropriate level of detail in the Trade Budget Systems; work in conjunction with sales to review trade fund use and effectiveness; identify opportunities to maximize ROI and eliminate non-working investments.Establish strong partnership with SRM Head and local organization to support creation and rollout of winning pricing, promo, mix and trade investment strategies.Partner with local One Demand (Sales, Market Strategy, Supply Chain) teams to effectively create business unit P&L forecast. Identify key opportunities and risks to the delivery of targets with recommended remedies.Ensure adherence to all corporate policies and guidelines pertaining to internal control with respect to the Trade budget.Drive digital tools/reporting and a value creation mindset within the local Sales/channel organization.Establish and maintain effective collaboration with regional FP&A team and other shared service and Center of Excellence teams.What can you expect from Mars? Education & Professional Qualification: Higher education (Master's degree in Economy, Finance, Business Administration).
2.
