**Key Accountabilities**
- 1. **Value Proposition Development**
- Work closely with RINA's business units to define and develop the value proposition for the Open Innovation Hub, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
- Identify and promote growth opportunities in energy transition, advanced materials, and decarbonization-related competencies.
- 2. **Facility Development and Management**
- Oversee the enhancement of RINA's facility in Castel Romano, expanding the Demo Center and testing facilities to ensure a competitive, state-of-the-art offering.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to strengthen RINA's testing and demonstration capabilities, positioning the company as a leader in energy transition.
- 3. **Launch of the Training Academy**
- Design, launch, and coordinate the Training Academy, dedicated to building innovative decarbonization skills, with customized training programs tailored for industry professionals and clients.
- 4. **Stakeholder and Client Relationship Management**
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with clients, institutions, universities, and other key stakeholders to support the hub's positioning.
- Actively collaborate with startup incubators to enhance the value proposition of the Innovation Hub and provide access to emerging technologies.
- 5. **Support for Startups and Venture Capital Funds**
- Develop and maintain relationships with venture capital funds and innovative startups, providing technical and strategic support to foster joint initiatives and accelerate technological growth.
- 6. **Profit & Loss Management**
- Take full responsibility for the hub's financial performance, ensuring sustainable growth and achieving profit targets.
- 7. **Team Building and Management**
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
- Ensure the team possesses the skills necessary to meet the hub's objectives and address market demands.
**Education**
- Master's Degree in Energy Engineering or Materials Engineering
- MBA/Post Graduate Degree in Renewable Engineering or Business Administration Finance Management
**Qualifications**
- 8-10 years of experience in innovation, business development, or project management roles, preferably in energy, technology, or sustainability sectors; a Master's in Innovation or Energy Transition is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing innovation ecosystems and P&L responsibilities.
- Track record of developing strategic partnerships and relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex environment with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong innovation and sustainability mindset.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
