Summary Hyatt Regency Rome Termini is seeking a skilled IT Supervisor to join our pre-opening team.
Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Termini is a newly renovated contemporary 5 star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy's most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.
The hotel is also featuring a SPA, 5 food & beverages outlets and more than 1000 sqm events venues.
Main duties and responsibilities: As the IT Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems within the hotel, supporting both the staff and guests in a fast-paced, exclusive environment.
In detail:
Oversee and manage the hotel's IT systems, including servers, networks, telecommunications, and security systems. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues across all departments. Ensure the integrity and security of the hotel's IT infrastructure, including data backups and network security measures. Collaborate with other departments to implement technology solutions that enhance guest services and operational efficiency. Maintain and update IT documentation, procedures, and policies. Supervise IT vendors, ensuring quality service and timely delivery of IT-related services. Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and other technology assets. Deliver support for events, assisting with technical issues and ensuring all IT requirements are met. Lead and train hotel staff on the usage of IT systems Monitor system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues. Stay up-to-date with new technologies and recommend improvements to optimize hotel operations. Skills and requirements: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT roles, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS, POS), networking, and telecommunication systems. Experience with security protocols, firewalls, and data protection measures. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficiency in both hardware and software troubleshooting. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
