As part of the Auberge family, you will be responsible verifying and maintaining the optimal functioning of the hotel's computer equipment and internal network, as well as creating and maintaining the applications needed to contribute to the company's various strategies.
Support tasks assigned by the Director of IT for the development and implementation of different IT projects and initiatives Manage and maintain the hotel's computer networks, including wired and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
Provide technical support for all hardware and software used within the hotel, including computers, printers, POS systems, property management systems (PMS), point of sale systems, and other specialized hotel applications.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by hotel staff or guests in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to operations.
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the hotel's IT infrastructure from cyber threats, including malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data breaches.
Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, including researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and ensuring that purchases align with the hotel's budget and technology requirements.
Provide training and technical guidance to hotel staff on the proper use of IT systems and software applications to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and inventory of all IT assets, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and future upgrades.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to IT security, data privacy, and technology usage within the hospitality industry.
Stay updated on advancements in information technology and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve guest experiences, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Prior experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), hardware troubleshooting, and software applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
