What you will do We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Site Delivery Lead to join our dynamic regional IT Site Delivery team.
This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of seamless IT support to end-users and helping maintain business continuity within our supply chain operations.
You will be responsible for providing on-site IT support, managing end-user computing devices, and ensuring high-quality service.
Additionally, you will play a key role in overseeing IT systems, services, and infrastructure that effectively support our supply chain operations, driving efficiency, productivity, and overall business success.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful track record of delivering exceptional IT services and support in complex environments.
You must be service-oriented, able to troubleshoot issues effectively, and committed to enhancing the overall end-user experience.
You will interact closely with business stakeholders to ensure that end-user needs are met in a timely and efficient manner, aligning IT service delivery with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities * Take full responsibility for all IT infrastructure services, both in the office and the manufacturing environment.
Ensure seamless delivery, maintenance, and issue resolution to minimize disruption to local operations and supply chain productivity.
Engage in technical discussions with IT stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making and maintain regular communication with business stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient IT support.
* Ensure that IT infrastructure services are delivered effectively and comply with current policies, standards, and approved Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Utilize site metrics, compliance checks, and reports to align services with corporate and local site operating procedures.
* Manage and standardize the local site's IT infrastructure, including end-user systems, ensuring they are secure and aligned with organizational standards.
Recommend process improvements and cost-saving solutions based on operational insights.
Forecast future IT infrastructure needs to support business growth and ensure scalability within the manufacturing plant by aligning with IT stakeholders.
* Maintain knowledge of hardware management, product flows, and lifecycle processes to ensure the IT infrastructure supports ongoing manufacturing operations.
Ensure the effective management of all end-user devices and IT assets throughout their lifecycle, from deployment to decommissioning, in alignment with system requirements.
* Lead site-level IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and technical services, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment on project progress and objectives.
* Serve as the primary contact for local, regional, and global projects involving Technical Services, addressing infrastructure needs, technical issues, and vendor relationships.
Manage incident escalation, service requests, and ensure successful delivery of both internal and external services.
What we are looking for Required Technical Skills * 2-5 years of experience in delivering IT infrastructure services.
* Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent.
* Qualified in computer science or possess experience-based learning.
* ITIL qualification supported by best practices and certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation) preferred.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
* The ability to manage end-to-end troubleshooting of IT hardware, software, networking, and servers.
* Technical knowledge and experience with servers, network, and infrastructure services.
* Technical capabilities with devices, printers, tablets, scanning and RF.
Soft Skills: * Good social skills and fluency in Italian and English.
* Ability to locate underlying issues through conversation.
* Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating the ability to interact with anticipated audiences courteously and with a service-oriented approach.
* Experience in end-user services, customer experience (CX), user experience (UX), or specialisation in IT End User Support/Desktop Management Environment.
* Excellent communication skills with IT stakeholders and end-users whilst delivering information on time.
* Experience leading projects to strict timelines.
* The ability to troubleshoot end-to-end processes.
* Excellent written communication skills.
