Your role:
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on IT Retail Specialist to join our IT Team in Bologna. You will report directly to our Global IT Director, bringing an agile approach and continuous improvement to the smooth operations of our retail systems. You will be responsible for the correct implementation of IT systems that support the sales and product allocation processes of Woolrich Direct to Consumer channel.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Overseeing the evolution of IT processes and systems in the Retail area
Designing software or BI solutions to be developed in-house
Initiating and managing the software selection phase for packages to be purchased
Defining and proposing technological solutions able to respond more effectively to the evolution of processes serving the Retail network
Being the technological reference point for Retail users. Background and key competencies:
1- or 2-years' experience, gained in retail companies or consultancy firms, in IT project management in retail international or similar experience in other fields.
Preferably certified (e.g. ITIL, Scrum, Prince2 or other)
Hands-on approach
Experience in managing complex projects
Good skills in formalising documentation and presentations
Excellent knowledge of the Azure cloud world and Office
Excellent knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and preferably SQL language.
