We are now looking for a colleague to join our team in Tognana, Italy as an IT Project Manager, Service Applications.
Position Summary This role will be responsible for leading the project Governance for activities principally impacting the IT department during the application development phase, infrastructure setup, process definition through to production release.
What you'll do?
As a key team player, your responsibilities include: Manage program budget and funding Oversee multiple initiatives, ensuring program goals are reached Produce program reports and implement a communication plan Identify risks and opportunities across multiple initiatives What makes you successful?
Bring your passion and expertise with: Fluency in English (oral and written) Excellent skills in IT project and program management in global contexts Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills, able to influence others Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with business managers, IT engineering and IT operations staff Good knowledge of IT infrastructure Good knowledge of ITSM processes Good knowledge of Agile development methodology Basic knowledge of IT enterprise architecture and applications landscape Preferred Master/Bachelor's degree with preference for Information Systems or Computer Science as field of study 10+ years of experience in the role of IT Project Manager in a global context Travel required: Up to 20 days per year The successful candidate will embrace Vertiv's Core Principles & Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities.
