The IT function within Watts Water Technologies aims at providing stable, secure, and high-performance IT services to the business. The IT organization also partners with the business to develop agile and innovative solutions to increase business performance and value.
The team is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and development of Information Systems and supporting ICT infrastructure for all Watts Water Technologies companies globally.
Job Description This person is responsible for performing professional level business systems analysis and project management activities which include planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining Watts business applications and computer systems.
User/support base is spread across 3 business sites in Italy and Spain. Occasional travel is needed.
Reporting Structure This role reports to the IT Manager for DACH, CEE, SEE, UK & Benelux and it is based in Biassono (MB) office in Italy.
Responsibilities: Understand the challenges and requirements of the functional business areasUse the ICT and business expertise to optimize processes, analyze change requests, share your insights as a specialist and provide solutionsDefine, design, document and implement ERP functional changes in order to improve processes and services as per the business needsRun the ERP upgrade projectsProjects/Process/BPM: Process analysis, elaboration and implementation of solutions in cooperation with the business departmentsContinuous improvement of IT Business processes adapted to the needs of the departmentsSupport and further development of the ERP- systemInterface function between IT and department/key users for the ERP system and connected systemsCoaching of employees / traineesProvide functional support of local IT systems and integrations in order to solve incidents, requests and problemsClosely work with business process owners, ERP supplier, global IT team and Internal/External AuditorsMaintain a robust ITGC EnvironmentManagement of IT staff (1 Admin) assigned in Watts Industries Italia We are looking for: Bachelor degree in IT or comparableFluent English and Italian verbal and written skillsProven working experience as an ERP/IT LEADER (min. 5 years of managerial experience) or relevant experienceExperience with IBMi (as/400), SQL and DB2Proven experience with ERP systems (ERP "SmeUp" is a plus)Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systemsExperience in SOX ProcessesKnowledge of service and support of infrastructure and ERP systems in an industrial company with several sitesHands-on attitudeExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsStrong ownership attitudeStrong interpersonal and communication skillsSensitive to the importance of stakeholders requirementsAbility to manage suppliers and partners
