Job Description The main mission of this position will be to ensure that all the IT infrastructure, systems and applications work properly and that the IT services provided to the staff and guests are running with the required quality and performance.
It is necessary to work with autonomy, proactivity, and flexibility, but always very well coordinated with the Corporate and Business Unit IT teams, that will provide the policies and procedures, the standards and the second level of support when needed.
Also, to maintain a direct relation with the IT providers involved in the systems and services.
An important part of the job will be to identify needs and propose action plans to improve the IT services at hotel level.
High teamwork and customer first orientation attitudes will be needed.
Key Responsibilities: To maintain a full and working knowledge of hardware, operating systems, application software and supporting tools available in the market today.
To ensure that all the IT infrastructure, systems and applications work properly and that the IT services provided to the staff and guests are running with the required quality and performance.
Co-ordinate internally and with external vendors, any IT project or implementation to ensure that the hardware requirements are met, network links are acceptable and software installation done correctly and timely.
To support guests, particularly those involved in coordinating meetings and conferences, in ensuring that all their audio-visual and IT needs are met, and that all their IT equipment works to their full satisfaction.
To advise the hotel GM and Financial Controller on recommended IT spend and upgrade requirements.
To be available to support the IT needs of colleagues across all departments.
Qualifications: Knowledge experience in Windows Operating System, both Server and Workstation.
Knowledge experience in networking: IP protocol, VLANs, copper and fiber nets, wifi infrastructures, chromecast and IPTV.
Knowledge experience in Office 365 tools: Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams.
Knowledge experience in Microsoft Active Directory and DNS services.
Knowledge experience in POS equipment (computers and receipt printer's management).
Knowledge experience in Hardware maintenance (servers, computers, switches, tablets, mobiles…).
Knowledge experience in Voice Systems (PBX, IP Telephony…).
Knowledge in Programming languages (scripting in PowerShell) will be a plus.
Knowledge of SAP software will be a plus.
