Daimler Truck Italia is looking for an IT Junior Application Manager. The chosen candidate will be responsible for handling the appropriate best practice to run the application management and related supporting processes, throughout the whole application lifecycle. The nominated applicant will provide high effective, reliable and efficient solutions to properly meet the business users' expectations.
To design and support the architecture and infrastructure used by the applications.
ACCOUNTABILITIES Supporting the maintenance of Project Management tools and related documentation concerning Software Lifecycle management. Knowledge about architecture, connections and IT infrastructure topics. Support and manage any IT infrastructure topic it could happen with the application or its environment. Ensuring incident, request & problem management processes by using best practice (Incident Management and Change Management Model defined within company). Assisting and developing the application requirements in a fitting working model. Support and manage the delivery of releases/small change/bug fixes/patches to resolve issues with running solutions, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the application and to minimize the impacts of disruption following the introduction of these changes. Support applications development projects, establish project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress to ensure timely delivery of applications. Participating in workshops and drafting the related notes and documents. Supporting system integration between local and central applications. Sustaining the User Acceptance Test, Rollout and Go Live activities. Preparing the User Acceptance Test Plans according to the business and assisting the dedicated Teams in executing these tests. Establish and perform supplier management processes with solution providers. Managing suppliers' activities, risks to increase service level quality. Support the AMS development Team according to Agile Scrum Framework. Keeping an overall overview of the project business context. Notifying the Project Manager of any risks and issues as they arise. Support Information Security Topics (aligned with Regional ISO guideline). Supporting Risk analysis and linked recommendations. Sustaining the IT related Business Operations activities, and IT governance related tasks. Education & Certificates Degree in IT related subject. Preferable: Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner and similar). PRINCE2 or other project management certificate. Professional Skills IT related University Degree (short working experience is preferable). Basic knowledge of Agile/Waterfall project management methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban/Prince2, IPMA). Good knowledge of applications/software lifecycle. Basic knowledge of IT processes (ITIL). Knowledge of system integration technologies (SOAP, API, REST Architecture). Knowledge of DBMS (SQL), 3-tiers architecture. Preferable: basic knowledge of key Digital transformation movers: RPA/AI/LC-NC. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Fluent in Italian and English. Interdisciplinary Skills Customer Oriented. Highly organized, self-motivated and results driven. Ability to work as part of a close-knit team, as well as an independent individual. Problem-solving skills. Analytical, structured, logical, lateral thinking. Confident communication, oral and written. Ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
