For our client, company leader in its specific sector and part of a multinational company, we are looking for the:
IT Infrastracture Manager
- Define and maintain an effective process for data protection and data accessibility to support day to day operations.
- Develop, test and update as necessary a data protection/data accessibility plan for inclusion in the business continuity plan.
- Execute the business continuity plan as necessary.
- Conduct needs analysis, solicit bids and formulate options for procurement and rollout of hardware, software and services and implement as approved.
- Working with 3rd parties as necessary, define and manage cyber security resilience architecture & solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization's IT infrastructure and data.
- Working with 3rd Parties as necessary, define and maintain an effective process for monitoring, detection and correction of security and performance issues for networking, desktop and communications
- Working with 3rd Parties as necessary, define and run infrastructure and user account vulnerability testing and define mitigation measures based on results.
- Ensure hardware resource availability
- Ensure network updates are implemented with mínimal business disruption
- Monitor and investigate emerging technologies that have potential to be utilized by the Company, group companies and parent company, including but not limited to, security, collaboration, networking, and communication
- Provide reports to appropriate personnel regarding effectiveness of infrastructure and make recommendations for the adoption of new procedures
- Train end-users on basic hardware and software operations
- Provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware and software issues.
- Formulate recommendations for improvements within scope of assigned work proactively
- Cooperate and collaborate with peers and interact cross-organizationally as specified by manager
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience
- 7 years' experience in infrastructure management and business processes
- 2 years' project management experience
- Demonstrated success leading IT technical and business projects
- Demonstrated success expanding aggregate knowledge and skills of the IT team(s) and sharing knowledge proactively
- Demonstrated success communicating IT technical and business projects resulting in documented agreement with internal and external clients
- Demonstrated success identifying system gaps and emerging technologies that support accuracy, productivity, and business growth
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a project or multiple projects on time, from concept through deployment;
- Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
- Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills;
- Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility;
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes with limited notice;
- Proficiency in English language (written & spoken)
