As a Global IS/IT Software Asset Manager, you will contribute to ensuring that value is received from our Global contracts, for Cloud and On-Premise Software in use in the 180+ countries where Nestlé operates.
From acquisition to retirement of respective Software, your role will include support of our Product Owners and Procurement/Legal/Finance teams to "buy right", contribute to maximize value received through regular governance with the vendors and with Nestlé experts, report compliance (no consumption beyond entitlements), support internal and external audit requests, optimize the ongoing utilization.
An important aspect related to the position is the necessity to read and understand Software and Cloud contracts, their Terms and Conditions, to identify risks and means to value the contract. For that purpose, very good relationship skills are required as this is done interacting with Vendors and internal stakeholders.
A Day in the Life of the Global Software Asset Manager:  Contribute to value existing Software and Cloud contracts, in sync with IT Product Managers, Procurement leads, Legal representatives, and Vendors.Oversee and contribute to top 5 five Sotware Vendors, either driving or contributing to the governance of respective contracts.Be data and facts driven to spot areas of improvement and tangibly report on achievements and value realization when it comes to consume from existing Software Contracts.Respond to internal and external audits related to Software Asset Management and continue to improve the process for the same (based on Gartner's recommendations).Contribute to the strategy for using technology and tools to achieve continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) for Team and Social Collaboration services.Support the analysis of technology industry and market trends and recommend solutions that improve our Product's portfolio.Support our community of pratice made of roughly 100+ local Software Asset Managers, to drive them towards the same global objectives as set out in our internal SAM standards (equivalent to that of ISO 19770).Act as highest level of escalation (Subject Matter Expert) for all operational issues related to management of Software Licenses.What else will make you successful? Demonstrated experience in an internal organization with centralized IT.Knowledge of a SAM tool (any) and ITIL.Experience in working with IT consumers and stakeholders, with proven ability to translate a business requirement into a tangible solution (product, process, measurement, etc…).Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.Curious about new technology, willingness to experiment.Strong English communication skills applied with different stakeholders, nationalities, and mediums (face-to-face and remote).Problem solving spirit.What about the Global IT Hub in Nestlé?
