Job Description: The IT Functional Analyst will play a critical role, gathering requirements and being the link between business and development teams that will inform strategic decisions in our banking services division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights and contributing to the success of banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders to ensure that project objectives align with business strategies. Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to banking services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in processes and systems. Present findings and recommendations to senior management to inform business strategies. Translate requirements into suitable language for internal stakeholders. Document requirements from various stakeholders. Ability to draw flowcharts and diagrams. Proficient knowledge of Oracle SQL database. Profile Requirements:
Proven experience as an IT Functional Analyst in the banking sector. Ability to analyze financial data, foresee potential challenges, and propose effective solutions. Understanding of financial decision-making processes and their impact on the system. Proficiency in understanding and integrating different systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and process integration. Skill in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements from various stakeholders to ensure that the integrated systems meet business needs and objectives. Excellent documentation skills to prepare and deliver various documents required in the project. Proficiency in creating and managing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to capture and prioritize requirements. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders in an international context and present information clearly and concisely. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Oracle SQL. Nice to have: proven experience in MiFID regulatory. 3-6 years of experience as an IT Functional Analyst.
