JOB PURPOSE For our HQ in Milan, we are looking for an IT ERP Retail Specialist who will report to the IT ERP Retail Manager. The candidate should be able to capture both corporate and local business needs, mainly from the Retail Department (including Master Data, Pricing, Sales and Distribution, Logistics, and PoS), and manage the end-to-end delivery of IT change initiatives related to SAP applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate in the definition of new Retail solutions and also in continuous process improvement by generating suggestions and engaging in problem-solving activities to support the team.Collaborate with the technical team for development activities based on functional analysis.Test the solutions and application evolutions and guarantee the execution of UAT with the responsibility of Go live activity and post go live support.Ensure the solidity of IT solutions developed.Prepare new solution documentation (e.g. user manual) and involvement in user training.Management of daily support and maintenance activities, which include the management of the ticketing system (with respect to SLA terms).KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Analytical skills (such as Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Proactivity) are mandatory.An excellent knowledge of Retail processes is required; priority will be given to ERP Retail environment, with focus on MM and Logistic execution area.Functional specifications, create or review solution concept & designs and technical specifications.Previous experience on WW retail project: ability to work in a dynamic environment and on large scale.The knowledge of SAP SD and WM modules is a plus.Good level of English (spoken and written).Flexibility and fast-learning approach is required.Passion and enthusiasm.Good relational skills, high capacity to adapt quickly to different situations and to different interlocutors are also required.Good capacity on working in a team.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Economics or a similar discipline.At least 2 years as SAP Retail Business Consultant with main focus on MM, logistic execution, warehouse activities, inventory management, interfaces with different systems.
