As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced **IT & Digital Transformation Director** to lead our technology initiatives and drive digital transformation.The IT & Digital Transformation Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological landscape. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer, this strategic leader will oversee critical areas such as infrastructure, projects, and digital transformation.-
- This role leads the digital stream at group level.**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Strategic Leadership**
- Define the company's technology vision and roadmap, aligning it with business objectives
- Lead the development and execution of IT strategies, emphasizing innovation and efficiency
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging AI, ML, IoT, etc. to enhance operational effectiveness
**Infrastructure Management**
- Oversee all technology operations, including network security, system administration, and cloud infrastructure
- Evaluate existing systems and propose enhancements to optimize performance and scalability
- Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
**Project Management**
- Manage a portfolio of technology projects, from inception to completion
- Collaborate with project teams to define scope, deliverables, and timelines
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and ensure successful project outcomes, overseeing cost control
**Team Leadership**
- Lead a team of IT managers, providing mentorship and guidance
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Coordinate with other departments to align technology solutions with business needs
**Budget and Vendor Management**
- Control the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation
- Build strong relationships with technology vendors and negotiate cost-effective contracts
**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A proven experience track record as an IT Director/Head of Digital Transformation or in a similar leadership role
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align technology with business goals and work in a matrix organisation
- Leadership Skills: Outstanding organizational, communication, and team development abilities
- High-level of energy, engagement and commitment, combined with enthusiasm and positive thinking
- Outstanding Project Management and change management skills
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware/software
- Fluent in English, and at least one of the following languages: Italian or German
